Hey everyone

Yes folks the big wait is over, last Wednesday Tim and I finally moved into our new house and it already has the makings of being a very entertaining bachelor pad. Some things around the house aren't quite finished yet but apart from that it's nice to finally have our own space. The house has 2 bedrooms with 2 sofa beds in the living room for any of you who want to come visit me here, garage, a massive garden with a coconut tree in it, and... a karaoke machine. Yes friends we have the ultimate pick up line in town - "You want to come back to ours? We have karaoke!" So to celebrate the move in on Wednesday we drank a loads of beer, went into town for a bit, won a sombrero (we call it the karaoke hat, you have to wear it when singing) came back home and drunkenly sang (well tried) some 80's classics till 1am. Good times. As our house is situated 2 streets down from hockey it looks like its also going to be a part time club house for after matches where we can play fines games like we do at North Notts, one of the rules is that if you get carded you have to sing a song of our choice whilst wearing the hat! Am gonna show these fella's how we do things in England!

Our house is directly under the flight path for the airport so I think I'm gonna apply for a job cleaning the 757's because all I'd have to do is stand on the roof with a mop and clean them as they fly over. Next weekend we're going to mow a cricket strip on the garden so when we have BBQ's we can also play some back yard cricket!!!

Great to hear we made the finals in the mixed cup, have just been looking at the photo's on the website and i have a couple of questions. 1. Is that a new TEAM LUMUX shirt Ryan is wearing? 2. Moody, what have you done to your stick?

Jay emailed me about the dinner, sounds like I missed a really good night, if any of you have any photo's can you send them to me I would be most grateful (Taggie - check the news page there's a gallery in there - Gareth).

Hockey is going well, we beat Stingers 3-1 on Saturday, I played a full game the heat isn't a problem anymore, I'm really starting to settle into the squad now and I'm teaching a couple of the how to speak woodhouse! And guess who we have joining us in June??? Alex Greer, he rang the other night to tell us when he lands, great news as when he gets here I'm gonna be hanging around with the person with the biggest tits at the lagoon!!!

Hopefully I'm gonna be doing some touristy stuff this week as my mates from uni arrive tomorrow, so it'll be great to see them all again and I have some stuff planned for them if they're up for it.

Apart from that I've just been cruising in my car wearing sunnie's with Eminem blasting out, and I must say I look cool as fcuk hehe!!! Here's a little challenge for you, try driving in flip flops, it took me ages to master, it's too hot to drive in shoes. It's 29 degrees today so as a rule don't touch anything metal or plastic in the car as it'll take you skin off!!!

Cairns is just gettin ready for State Of Origin, this is basically the Man Utd v's Arsnal of the rugby world. It's Queensland (us) v's New South Wales (them) and the rivalry is intense, I'm sure it'll be on sky sports Wednesday dinner time so if you get the chance to watch it then please do, and don't forget to cheer for the Maroons (that's QLD).

Maz rang the other day, him and Emma are fine, was nice to speak to him after so long, and I think I detected a tiny bit of an accent poking through.

Any way folks gotta fly as I've just bought System Of A Down's new album and I'm off home to go blast the walls of the house and maybe do a bit of karaoke, so I'll leave you with this joke...
