Goosedale This Weekend

It’s the Mixed Lynette Magilton Memorial trophy 6s tournament at Goosedale this weekend.

NNHC have 2 teams entered – get down and support them, either Saturday or Sunday.

England Hockey Introduces New Rules Early

The Board of the England Hockey Board has approved the introduction of the new 2011-12 Rules of Hockey (Outdoor and Indoor) at the start of the coming hockey season (1 September 2010).

League Fixtures 2010-11

All League Fixtures (and Ladies Notts Cup/Shield Draws) have now been published on this site.

Awaiting details of Start times and Friendlies. Once these have been received they will be updated/added accordingly.

In Summary, Ladies league games start on 25th September and Men’s start on 2nd October.

Junior Hockey Training Academy

When & Where:

Sun 1st August 2010, 10:30am -11:30am, at Manor Complex, Mansfield Woodhouse (NG19 8JY) for 4 weeks.

Age Groups:

5-9 Years – Quicksticks

9-11 Years – Mini-Hockey

11-13 Years – Hockey

13-18 Years – Come along and help out!

Other Information:

Cost = £3 per session

Equipment:

Please bring your hockey stilck if you have one – some will be available to borrow for the sessions
Suitable clothing such as a training top (as required)
Astro training shoes
Water bottle (filled with your choice of liquid refreshment!)

Please make sure you always arrive 10-15 minutes before the session.

Open Day – 25th July 2010

NNHC will be holding an Open Day on Sunday 25 July 2010, 10:30-12:00 as part of the 2012 Olympics Open Weekend at Manor Sports & Recreation Centre.

The club needs all Members to confirm their availability to assist on the day with the following activities:

Quicksticks Sessions for 7-11 year olds (Quicksticks kit supplied by Manor School).
Mini-Hockey demonstrations for 12-16 year olds.
Adult Hockey demonstrations for over 16’s we will hold “taster” sessions for people that are interested in having a go, or want to return to the game.
Welcome to the NNHC Junior Academy – for new or existing members…
England Hockey Board sponsored Balloon Release!

As Nottinghamshire Schools break-up for the Summer Holidays on Friday 23rd July this is a great opportunity to get kids and parents interested in the Summer Academy and the Club in general.

Mansfield School Sports Partnership will be publicising the event at all Mansfield Schools, but without the help of NNHC Members this event will not be a success and it is an excellent opportunity to attract new members to the club.

We have the beginning, can you fill in anything else, from any time?

Just email us using the form on this page ADD TO CLUB HISTORY with any club history you may recall and we’ll add it to the memories there.

Once we have enough – we’ll write a new chapter for the Club History pages – in time we’ll build up a complete club history – who knows, it may even get published!

THE MRHA LEAGUE COMMITTEE HAS DECIDED THAT FOR THE 2010 SEASON THE SUBMISSION OF RESULTS BY TEXT IS COMPULSORY FOR ALL HOME TEAMS IN ALL 2nd , 3rd, and Central LEAGUE GAMES – AND FINES WILL BE ISSUED FOR LATE OR NON COMPLIANCE.

The NNHC 100 Club….

What’s it all about? Commit to £5 per number, per month (you are not limited to just one number), payable by Standing Order, on 1st of every month.

In that month’s committee meeting (or alternative arrangement if there isn’t one) numbers will be drawn and a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th prize will be awarded in the ratio of 25%, 12.5%, 7.5% and 5% of the total amount of prize fund collected for that month.

The remainder of the pot goes towards running the club…

The more people take part, the more you can win and the more the club gains!

How do I enter?

Contact 100Club@northnottshc.net for a number and standing order form.
Enter your ‘100 Club’ number and your name on the ‘Payment Reference’ box of the standing order form.
Fill in the remainder of the Standing order form and take/send it to your bank.
You will receive confirmation that you have been entered as soon as the first payment has been received.
Payments go out of your bank account on or around the 1st of the month .
You can join or leave the ‘100 Club’ at any time.
Support your club. Spread the word. It’s not limited to club members.
