The Men's 1st XI play in East Midlands Premier Division and the Ladies 1st XI play in the Midlands Region Hockey Women's League Division 2 and the whole club train every Wednesday and play most matches at our home ground (The Manor Complex) in Mansfield Woodhouse, Nottinghamshire, England.
North Notts Hockey Club run 5 Men's teams and 3 Ladies teams on a Saturday competing in various leagues across the Midlands (see the Links and Downloads page for links to the leagues we play in). The hockey club also includes a Men's development 6th XI, U18 teams for men and ladies and a thriving Junior section playing games on Sundays as well as a Mixed team. All at the Manor Complex, Kingsley Avenue, Mansfield Woodhouse
Anyone, of any standard, is welcome to come along and try their hand. Club features include
Finances The club is a non-profit making organisation - in order to spend money (much of it up front at the start of the season - league fees, Hockey Association fees, insurance, etc.) the club relies on the timely payment of match fees. These are as follows;
Match fees include a contribution towards Wednesday training - if you do not play on a weekend £1.50 is payable on Wednesday training nights. Monday nights training - £1 under 18s, £2 all others There are no yearly club subscription fees to play. We believe we are unique locally in that our club works purely on a 'pay to play' basis. ANYONE who falls into arrears will become unavailable until the arrears are cleared or a repayment schedule has been agreed with the committee. NO EXCUSES.
