Do you remember when – if no one remembered to switch the tea urn on at half time, there wouldn’t be hot water for the tea pot after the game when the Club played at Warsop?

Can anyone remember when we used to have to play some of our home games at Arnold Hill School…? It must’ve been the worst astroturf pitch ever, in fact it was more like a beach – my knuckles and knees still have the scars!

Going to Warwick Univ to play for the 3rds in Jacko’s car with Jacko not noticing that the temp gauge was in the red. Suddenly it went bang and then Paul Riley having to ferry players to the ground,(fortunately we weren’t far away). On the way home having to wait in the stricken car for the AA man as there wasn’t enough space in the cars.
