Captain's Help Page

There are two areas of functionality available to team captains (if you want a user-name/password let me know).

1.    Team Selection

If the team hasn't been selected from the list of available players before I see it in the CHAD (but I'd much rather you did it) you can enter your team from the Fixtures/Display Team page.

You can't select someone twice and Men can only play for Men's teams and Ladies for Ladies teams!

In this screen you can also indicate whom within the club is umpiring your fixture.

If someone playing for you isn't in the player list let me know and I'll add them (I'm gradually building up a complete club player list so this should get more and more rare).

2.    Match Report Cards

Instead of filling a paper record you can enter your match details directly into the web-site for Approval.

Click on the 'Enter Match Report Card' link along side the corresponding fixture in the Fixtures/Team Selection page.

Here you can add goal scorer details and card receiver details.  You can select anyone within the club - so make sure you pick the right person!

Once you've done this enter the half and full time scores and click Save.

Once saved, the information can be amended by going to Results/View Pending Results.  Here you can either amend the Match Report Card or delete it.

Once I see all details are complete I will approve it and it will be moved into the results database proper (and card/scorer details transferred onto the main site).  If once it has been approved you find it needs changing - let me know the details of the change and I'll get them changed.

3. Match Reports

Please e-mail them to me and I'll create a page and link it to the result.  If you have photos etc. all the better.  I'll be carrying my camera to most games and will endeavour to get photos of all matches - just to add to the look of the reports.
