Players always wanted!
Whether you are an experienced player and have just moved to the area, whether you used to play and would like to get back into the game, or whether you have never played before and would like to give it a try, we always have room for new players, both men and ladies. Players aged 13 and over can take part in regular league hockey, while under 13s can join our junior section.
We are a Family-orientated club located in Mansfield Woodhouse who offer a friendly atmosphere that focusses on improving the fitness and skill of all members, though our commitment to the “England Hockey ClubsFirst” accreditation.
North Notts operate eight Adult Hockey teams, with 5 Men’s teams and 3 Ladies teams competing in various leagues across the Midlands. The hockey club also includes U18 teams for men and ladies, a thriving Junior Section playing games on Sundays, and a Mixed team. 
The club was established in 1949, is run by volunteers and has a family-friendly culture. We have members from across the Mansfield, Ashfield, Bolsover districts and beyond! If you’re looking to play hockey in the North Nottinghamshire and North Derbyshire area, then North Notts Hockey Club is the place for you!

The Men’s 1st XI play in the Midlands Region Hockey League, East Midlands Premier Division and the Ladies 1st XI play in the Midlands Region Hockey Women’s League Division 1. The remaining Men’s teams play in the Midlands Region Hockey League and the two other Ladies teams play in the Nottinghamshire Womens Hockey League.
The club run dedicated training sessions with professional coaching on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and play matches at our home ground -
